this is truly one of the favourite parts of the piece!!! I have been so excited to share this with you and I just really wish I could perform this for you all in real life. hopefully, that will be possible one day!!! yes, this scene is very destructive and violent, but I think that is a very important part of life too, that we often try to hide. I am so happy to share this with you! Many have asked for a video of the music dramatic piece because you weren't able to make it to one of the shows, or you just wanted to see it again, and finally, here it is!! thanks to the Amazing LUNINJO production (Lukas Thomsen and Jennifer Andersen) for making this beautiful video!! damn guys! you are so talented! Yes and I know I got the COOLEST ensemble in the world!!! Guys I could never have done this without you! you are all ever dreamed about! Violin: Bellis Larsen Viola: Caroline Risbo Gammeltoft-Hansen Cello: Safira Nielsen Dancer/Singer: Ea Wim 3 days to my album blog launch!! This has been so hard! It is one thing to have all these dreams inside your head, but to say it out loud, and make others understand your vision... Suddenly you get so upset about it. Suddenly you feel how much this actually matters to you, and how much you want it to matters to others, but what if people don't get it? What if you are the only one who has these thoughts. Can't wait to hear what you guys think.
Can't wait to play with these two amazing guys: Theo Alexander and Nörberg!! Theo Alexander makes sad piano music with amazing soundscapes flying above. Nörberg makes electronic nordic noir, and he has the most beautiful fragile vocal!!
Thanks for the amazing concert yesterday!! So amazing to meet Jacob David and Nathan Shubert, and hear your beautiful music live!! Thanks to Cafe MellemRummet for being an amazing host like always!! Looking forward to play again April the 26th 18:00 (it is a Friday)!!!
Jacob David (born 1981) is a Danish composer and pianist based in Copenhagen. Since a child, he was inseparable from the piano, doing improvisations ranging from blues to classical. While playing at nursing homes in his early 20’s, Jacob David observed how the music was soothing and would sometimes bring back memories long forgotten. This experience compelled him to simplify his music style; and he began to compose original pieces. First classical open mic in Copenhagen EVER!
I have been at many open mics for songwriters and there is a strong tradition for it here in Copenhagen and it really strengthen the community, and I think that we really could learn from that when it comes to composing classical. I know a lot of people composing, but there is no place to try it out and share, so finally here it is! |
